Proverbs 2:6

Let’ understand how we can receive the wisdom of God.

For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth [cometh] knowledge and understanding.

Here, the Scripture straightforwardly reveals the source of all wisdom that is, God the Father. No tuition and no skill-building classes can actually make us wise. It’s given only by God meaning that we’re supposed to ask for it. Obviously, He doesn’t give His wisdom to anybody and everybody without any check and balance because if that were the case, there’d have been no foolishness on earth.

James 1:5 – If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all [men] liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

Here, the Bible again testifies that wisdom is given by God. And not only this but whoever lacks wisdom or needs it shall “ask” God and He will give it to him generously without finding any faults/errors in you. But the next verse very clearly follows that it should be asked with “faith” and if you’ve got no faith, don’t expect to receive it.

The second part of the verse says that God speaks knowledge and understanding: words of knowledge and understanding come out of His mouth. And we know that the Bible is the Word of God (the exact words of His mouth): things that He spake and things that He wants us to hear and read. While you stand in faith to receive the wisdom of God, study and meditate on the Word of God.

Without Bible, you’ll never receive wisdom because that’s exactly where all the knowledge, understanding, and instructions knowledge, understanding, and instructions are laid down that will prepare you for the divine wisdom. Nothing in this world – no amount of worldly knowledge and books can actually make us wise other than the living Word of God.

Keep asking in prayer with faith and keep studying the Word of God: gradually, you’ll have wisdom and a new & right perception about everything according to the Word of God.
